David was the Guest of Honour of the 1st Film Festival of Beaucaire organised by 'Les Tetes a Clap'. He came along with his partner Helen and director Claude Grinberg.
Claude Grinberg showed us a never-seen-before footage that was MAGICAL: 'Songs d'une nuit d'ete' filmed in 1995. We saw David & Viktor Lazlo sing a duet together and then he sang Aznavour's 'La Boheme' on his own.
A young band of hip hop dancers then performed to the S&H theme.
Afterwards, they showed us 'The Judge Was A Woman' and then David kindly answered questions from the public. We also asked him if he could sing a capela for us and he sang one of his most popular songs: 'Don't give up on us'.
To wrap up the evening he then signed photos and autographs with extreme kindness and appeared very sincere and down-to-earth.
