- DS article in the UK FHM magazine APRIL '99 Issue, page 106. Full page interview and full page photo (thanks for the tip, Dorothy and Deb!)
- Concert at the 'Shoeless Toes' - February 3rd, party at 'Shoeless' night-club to launch a TV series ("Days Like These" ) based on the 70's. David and Alexa went on stage for 40mns.
- The Story of J Edgar Hoover - David recorded a new radio play for Radio 4 based on the life of J Edgar Hoover and the 15 year homosexual relationship he had with his assistant Clyde Tolson - portrayed by David.
- Memorabilia '99 - David will be in Birmingham at the NEC on March 27th and 28th with other TV stars signing memorabilia from 10:00a.m. - 5:00pm. Tickets at the door: £5. This is a very big event and 17.000 people are expected to turn up!
